OH, jeepers! I'm so excited to read this! Sadly, I have to leave, but I fully intend to come back, squee, quite possibly cry (since I'm just a big ole baby), and comment again.

YAY!

I'm completely in love with this story. Between Jensen's inner struggle, Jared's encouragement, and the budding J-squared love, this story had it all. I enjoyed reading about the religious impact it had on the young teen and, later, the adult. You wrote it spectacularly well without being preachy, and that's a tough thing to do. I also like the ending with Jensen's mother, how she still wasn't accepting even though she had known all these years. The ending was bittersweet, but worth it.

Another favorite part of mine in the story was how you showed Jensen developing throughout his life, from his first experience as a young pre-teen to his experiences and thoughts as an adult man. It was, at times, sorrowful and heart-wrenching, but towards the end, you could see a stronger, better, more comfortable Jensen emerging, and that is lovely.

I enjoyed this story very much, and am sorry to see it end.

Wow, you weren't kidding about coming back LOL! Thank you SOOOO much for reading and the well thought out feedback. I can't tell you enough how much it thrills me that you enjoyed this -and I really thought not that many people would read this given the religious undertones, but thank you so much for taking a chance and giving this a read!

Beautiful end to a beautiful story. I love that, though everything's not perfect and his mother isn't accepting, it ends with Jensen being okay with himself and being honest. It feels right. :)

Thank you so much for reading honey! I hate stories that have a 100 percent happy ending because it just seems so far fetched, you know? Like when you read a great fic and in the last sentence the character like, dies or something with no explanation or they like, say they love each other and get married without any preparation or a setup -that TOTALLY takes me out of the realm of realism I love to look for in any story. And really, this was all about "fic Jensen" finding love and acceptance within himself so I'm really glad that you enjoyed this!

Aww!!!!!
It is perfectly healthy and wonderfully normal. You are wonderfully normal.

This was a perfect ending! Jensen's Mom just needs some time... Maybe a therapist :D
