Unless you are doing your dream job, work will never make you truly happy. And work was never meant to be easy on us, I kinda think it was punishment for the Original Sin in the Garden of Eden. Man was forced to work!
Thus we follow in their footsteps having to work to eat. Now when the disciples and Jesus journeyed their job was to witness to others, to share the gospel. God always provided for them because they were doing what they were meant to do.
We should all share the gospel to non-believers, but we are not all called to do it in the same way. Think about that. :-)

that reminds me of these verses..
"For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now."-romans 8:20-22
*sigh* He did do it in hope of one day setting us free from this...i cant even imagine how cool it will be.
