I know exactly what you mean about the English language. It's a huge pet peeve of mine, too!!! For instance, when people say, all of the sudden. It's all of A sudden!! Grrr!

I hope you do post pics of your haircut, because I can not picture this red flash you mention.

I've never heard anyone say that but it sounds annoying. I could have just been giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming they've been saying a sudden, bet I will notice it now if they say the. I mean seriously what is wrong with people.

I will try and remember to take some pictures of my hair tomorrow. The red flash is basically the section of hair from the tip of my ear to the bottom of my hair line on my right side. So with the other blonde and brown hair falls on it only a bit is peeping out from the bottom. Hope that helps you imagine it. It is hard to explain without showing you though so I really will endeavor to take some pics that show it. :)

I'm not sure if I've heard it, but I read it ALL the time. Here's another common mistake: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Is_the_saying_'all_intents_and_purposes'_or_'all_intense_purposes' Another pet peeve is when people use the abbreviation pix to mean one pic. The X implies more than one but they use it as singular. Gah!

The whole loose instead of lose thing bugs me too. It happens so frequently I was starting to think that somewhere it's allowed as an alternate spelling and no one ever told me.

Yeah, I've been thinking that too! I mean anyone can make the mistake while they are hurriedly typing up a letter or something (spell check doesn't pick it up) but I know some repeat offenders that renders the charitable notion of typo void!

I really must. I suck at taking pictures of myself though. I might pester mum to take some of me when she gets in from work tomorrow though! :D

Haircuts rock! I love nothing more than chilling at the hairdressers. Its a great destresser, espiecially when you come out feeling really great cause your hair looks fabbity! :D
