The heat has been so thick and heavy that I have been glad of todays rain, although it seems to have done little to remove the muggyness. It's the time of year when the corn has ripened to a dusky gold and ripples in the wind like waves in the sea. Finally, summer seems to have arrived. If you like him, then just ask him out. Invite him to meet you for coffee or something. I asked a guy out once. It did turn out he had a g/f but he was very sweet about it. Hopefully this guy is the same way. Good luck!

I cvame home off holiday yesterday morning. I went to Mallorca. I didn't get too drunk. I got a bit silly on sangria, though.

Yesterday I also bought the entire run of The X-Files (plus the movie) on DVD from FMV. For £75 no less! I don't think I'll be getting much sleep for the next few weeks.

Congrats on the car. There is something wonderful about owning something all to yourself, especially when it's something nice like that. :) Also glad to hear that the job is going well.

The Dark Knight was so amazing. I walked away from that movie thinking "here is a writer/director who actually understands who The Batman is. AND who the Joker is." It was so awesome and it's just a shame that we won't get to see the Joker ever again, because no one could possibly fill the shoes now that HL is gone.

As for me I put in an offer to buy a house. They countered my offer way too high, so I'm countering that offer... and currently waiting to here what they say. It's such a nerve wracking waiting game. Cross your fingers for me that this will all work out ok! :)

I'm so sad that we don't get to see how HL would have topped his performance on Dark Knight. He was so amazing.
