Did I guilt you into updating? lol

That waiter might be seeing someone, but maybe it's not serious. You could always chat him up and find out.

That other guy sounds like a complete moron! In no way are you shallow. He is!

We call ladybirds "ladybugs". I've never heard of them smelling. lol

Lol, just a co-incidence. I came on to update anyway (and vent about Mr Fuckwit) but I always read my flist before I do just incase there is something that might need to be addressed in my post (like a spoiler for Lost etc ( ... )

So, are you going to try and find out if it's serious?

Wow. That guy totally reminds me of a guy I ran into years ago. What a moron. *shacks head*

I didn't know they had a yellow 'venom'.

I would like to. But I don't really know how to do that without it making it look like I'm making a move on some other girls man.... Although, technically he doesn't know i know so maybe could plead ignorant?

I know. The most worrying thing is that he appears completely normal. There is no outward sign that he is of freakish nature. Maybe they should be branded or something with a big fat F so that he doesn't ensnare some poor unsuspecting girl.

Well, its a yellowy orange gunk...I think it's either to ward of predators or poo. But it has a dodgy smell. Although having just googled it, it seems to be:

As a defence mechanism many ladybird species exude a yellow fluid (called reflex blood) which has an unpleasant acrid smell, and which can stain soft furnishings

I'm glad I've found that and it seems to be a fact not something my brain has made up to make me sound like a fool :P Whenever i mention it people just seem to laugh at me...well, at that and my pear-phobia.

I'm doing good. Things have been fairly uneventful lately, which is probably why I'm not posting as much. The house is good.. I'm thinking about taking some time off in September to paint the kitchen and get rid of the ugly wallpaper in there.. so that will be fun to do. :)

Ashes to Ashes was a surprise to me too. I thought they would end it there and then, but it looks as is there will be a series 3..... I mean there has to be to explain that ending!!

Also I agree with the ladybirds, I think it's this yellowish stuff they secrete. This is what I found:

"If you handle a ladybird it may release small drops of yellow liquid on to your hand. This is actually blood, which will stain your hand and smell quite pungent. This behaviour is an example of defensive 'reflex bleeding' to ward off enemies and alarm them. On rare occasions a ladybird may bite and will give quite a sharp nip."

Interesting!!

I heard that the BBC have commissioned another series which I'm really excited about (seriously, i need Gene/Alex action stat!). The only problem is though it probably won't be show for another year!! How the hell are we meant to be left hanging like this for a year?!

You don't understand how much I want to kiss you right now! For years people have thought I was crazy when I said Ladybirds smelt but finally someone else agrees. Once you've tapped into the smell you can't untune your nose to it so you detect it everywhere there is a ladybird. I'm really going to have to compile this information to prove them naysayers wrong!!

'Ello! How are you doing?

Omg that was sooo funny! 'Some Jokes just aren't funny'. I don't think I can wait for another series, I might spontaneously combust thinking about it.

I'm good, thanks. I'm still keeping up with my fanfiction stuff. Beast and Emma Frost have a kid. Captain Britain and Meggan are still doing their thing with Excalibur.

Oh! Do you remember that replacement for that other Captain Britain that I created? She's a member of my version of Excalibur now.

Are there any other characters that you'd like to hear about?
