Apperance + Offscreen meme
If you wanna work out what your character and China do offscreen, tag me here and let's talk about it~
Clothing/Appearance: 169 cm/5'6"! China has a neither man nor woman be... sort of look to him. It's not impossible to mistake him for a girl. He's very lightly built and his voice is also high-pitched, like a girl's, or a little boy's. His eyes are really, really light brown, like an old person's discolored eyes. His hair isn't very dark either, and it's always in a ponytail or half-up princess style if he wants to feel ~youthful~ or something.
He actually usually wears western styled (grandpa-ish) clothes in camp. Most of the time it's a polo: really obviously fake Lacoste or fake Ralph Lauren, or even a fake tourist polo from Disneyworld with a little Mickey head embroidered on the breast pocket. Other times it's a t-shirt, and by t-shirt, I mean a plain white undershirt with sleeves. Sometimes it's (not fake) official Beijing 2008 athletic wear! Fake Nike windbreakers, a face mask, and those rough white gloves with the palms painted red (the kind you see workers at Asian grocery stores wear) for the cold. Straight-leg blue jeans or khaki/brown slacks, except they are always too short for him, so his ankles show. When it's really hot, he wears a white wifebeater and ridiculously short gym shorts in obnoxiously bright colors. He always wear those ubiquitous black slippers, though.
Occasionally he'll wear more traditional Chinese clothes for holidays and just for the hell of it, because hey, variety is the spice of life. That means black capris and any manner of tops with the Mandarin collar + sometimes floppy sleeves. Usually it's green or white or dark blue. Red is for special occasions.
Habits/Mannerisms/Body Language: If China considers you family he has no problems getting in your personal space, touching your shoulder to emphasize a point, smacking you if you do something stupid, etc etc. Not so much draping or hugging/clinging, though. In the more likely event that he doesn't consider you family, he's quite closed off and keeps his distance.
He doesn't use hand gestures much at all, except for maybe pointing. He doesn't consider it rude to point at people. Also, he points with his middle finger. He forgets what the middle finger means in America most of the time, it's not like he's trying to be cheeky. If he's wearing floppy sleeves, he'll, y'know, tuck his hands inside his sleeves. He also covers his mouth a lot with his sleeve if it's long enough.
He has a tendency to purse his lips. When he walks, he has the tendency to hold his hands behind his back. A lot of his physical mannerisms are grandpa-like and he moves pretty stiffly.

Typical Daily Routine: (err... I haven't checked this with anyone. so uh. this is all just from my end |D)
Wakes up while it's still dark and does tai chi outside as the sun rises, no matter how cold it is. Then he goes to Canada's kitchen, cooks breakfast, and brings it back to the Wu Base. He probably tries to wake up everyone so they can eat breakfast together as a big happy family. |D Then he washes all the dishes and returns it to Canada. Mid-morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack are eaten at the mess hall, mostly. He borrows Canada's kitchen again for dinnertime. After dinner, you have to eat fruit, and he eats a midnight snack too. After dinner, he takes an evening stroll, without fail.
He actively tries to keep up with all the Chinese people in camp, so he also takes a lot of random walks, everywhere through camp. He'll also sit outside sipping tea, or play badminton/xiangqi with himself unless someone comes by who's wiling to play with him. Uh, when the weather gets better, he'll probably try to start a veggie garden close to the Base. He also hangs out in the Arts and Crafts Hut a lot doing calligraphy, painting in general, and macrame. He probably writes out epic Chinese poems, binds them, and places a copy in the library so EVERYONE CAN ENJOY HIS LITERATURE!!! And he'll play with his pandas if he gets real bored.
Night is internet and/or karaoke time. He likes karaoke and he'll go to the Karaoke Hut if there's anyone up for it, no matter how many times a week. If not, he watches period drama (and sometimes Kdrama :|) on Tudou, pores through 163 and QQ. He also does things like burn illegal DVDs and design pirated goods with his pirated Photoshop. If he's feeling annoyed with someone, he'll photoshop unflattering pictures of them to vent his frustration!!! >( He tucks in at around 1-3 AM.
