Great Episode, guys. I am a bit ashamed to admit, as a newbie Who fan, that until the end credits, I completely forgot that Sylvester McCoy had a role in the movie. It didn't help that looking back, he was still nigh unrecognizable to me as Radagast.
I actually saw this in 3D (not my first choice...it was the only thing that was playing near the time I showed up at the theater), and though it hurt the hell out of my eyes, it was totally worth it. 3D can work, in the right hands and for the right reasons.

And I second the fluid intake. I had water and only had a few sips and by the end I had to pee so bad. The second viewing was better though...

I have the entire LOTR and The Hobbit book set that I got in college but never got around to reading. So after seeing this film I thought I'd dive right into The Hobbit since I heard it was a bit of an easier read than the others. Maybe if I make it through that, I can tackle the trilogy proper.
