I use those little plastic produce net bags that small items come in. Once they are worn out and I can't use them to pack produce in, I "retire" them to my kitchen, where they scrub things quite effectively. :)

It seems that I need to be buying different produce or something.

Most of the stuff that comes in a net bag, I'm not going to use the quantity in the bag before it starts being somewhat less than fresh. :(

But yeah, those would work extremely well....
