*raises both hands* oh me! Pick me! This is kind of a tentative claim, just have a few questions for you. Are you hoping to just draw for a certain fandom? Or is it open to requests? Are the extras on top of the base price of one character? For example, two full body cell shaded characters in one picture with no background, would that be 80? Or are the extras only referring to the types of backgrounds you offer?
Thank you for your questions! (I can already see there are some things we could need to make clearer). We will draw for any fandom or for original characters. Just, if it's something we've never heard of (and if it is we'll mention it) linking us to something you think is a good description of the people in question (like a wiki) is all we need.
And yes, the extras are on top of the base character. For two full body cell-shaded characters in one picture (no background) $80 is correct.
The background (which we consider to encompass the whole image, not just a prop like a chair or a tree to lean against) starts at $10 and is subject to change because something simple like a bedroom is a lot easier to do than, say, a cityscape or a forest.
We hope that makes sense?
This is our first attempt at asking for commissions so it's kind of a learning experience for us too. We want to make this as simple as possible for anyone who would like to commission us.
You've mentioned the complexity of the background affecting the price, and I know it says that as well for subjects in the Terms, but how much of a difference are you talking about? Like, I know a person in jeans and a tshirt is probably going to be a lot easier than, say, a Transformer. But what would you evaluate the cost difference as?
Well for that I suppose that yes, a Transformer would be harder/take longer to do than a person in jeans and a shirt, but they would still both be the same amount if you wanted the same thing for both. So a fullbody shot of a Transformer is still going to cost the same as the fullbody shot of a person. At this time we're only charging per character, not the complexity of the character.
As for the background, I'm not really sure what you mean. It depends on what you want, really. A simple background would be less than a more complex one but that's really something decided at the time of commission. As is stands a background will still start at ten dollars, regardless of what it is. 'Complex' is more like we said, a cityscape backdrop, or something similarly grand. 'Simple' covers a large territory for us, honestly. A complex background wouldn't be much more, but again it's the kind of thing where we'd need context of what kind of background one would want in the commission, and then it'd be up for

Besides this, we do have a DeviantArt (there's not much there, honestly) but that's here: http://madeoftin.deviantart.com/
We also have a tumblr, with more things on it here: http://kickingshoes.tumblr.com/
