Projekt Revolution
I just got back from the Projekt Revolution tour with Matt, and I must say that show beat ANY show I have EVER been too. It beat ALL the GC shows that I've ever been to COMBINED. It beat the Meteora Tour by a million. And Linkin Park keeps just getting better and better.
Less Than Jake
What to say about LTJ? THEY FUCKING ROCK. Like always. They played some new stuff from their new album as well as some oldies. Their set was on for about a half hour or so.
The Used
The Used fucking rocked the fucking house. Their set was short which I hated but still I enjoyed myself. I think my favorite part was when Bert asked the crowd to raise their hand if they came with their best friend to the show. Matt and I raised our hands. The he said for everyone who raised their hands to put their arm around their best friend and turn to them and say "I appriciate your friendship" which Matt and I did. That was one of the best memories I'll take away. Surprisingly, Bert didn't throw up at this show which I guess was good for everyone front row. Oh and The Used has a new album due out soon. EVERYONE needs to buy it or I'll hunt you down and personally slit your throat.
Snoop Dogg
I honestly didn't think Snoop was going to fit into the mix of all the bands but he pulled it off perfectly. He mixed his set with the usual hip-hop but added a little bit of rock to it. He smoked his usual joint on stage and passed the remainder into the crowd. He was about 10 times better than I thought he was going to be.
KoRn
Holy Fucking Hell. One of the best fucking live bands ever. Jonathan Davis and the crew put on one hell of a fucking show. I think they could have picked a better arangement of songs to play but still...so fucking awesome. Jon was in his kilt and brought out the bag pipes about half way through the performance. Matt and I were watching this little Hawaiian dude who was probably the biggest fucking KoRn obsessive fan out there. He tried way to hard to look "hardcore". He came off rather...stupid.
LINKING FUCKING PARK
These guys have a pure talent for creating tours and stage effects and arrangements. They blew the place to fucking hell and back and still had time for dinner... They played most of both of their albums as well as new shit that'll be on the new record coming soon. (( EVERYONE BETTER BUY THAT ONE TOO )) About half way through they had this little break dancer dude come out and do some nasty shit on the floor. He did a summersalt in the air over Chester and did a back flip off of a rather tall stage prop. They ended with One Step Closer and had a fucking fireworks show at the complete of the song. If they top that next year, I dont think my mind will be able to handle it.
If anyone is going to that tour anytime soon or is thinking about buying tickets. I HIGHLY recommend it. It is well worth the $53. I'd say tickets should be about $100 each because the show was that good. Or maybe it was just because I was back in good ol' Boston and we just fucking rule...take your pick. =P
