Many thanks! It's always great to hear that someone from outside of the fandom has enjoyed my work. You know, I would never have guessed (from your icon & username) that you were into baseball!

This whole story came about as a result of a casual chat realization that, hey, if you put Chris Pronger & Danny Briere together that's one hell of a lot of kids. My fondness for the pairing itself is (possibly) owing to the fact that they're such a ridiculous mismatch on the size front - 5' 8"(ish) and 6' 5"(ish), allowing for NHL roster inflation (even the Flyers' front office acknowledges that Danny Briere isn't his listed height of 5' 10". He is the definition of a small, angry forward).

And never apologize for rambling! It's how we get all of our thoughts onto paper, after all.

Yeah, glad I read this. Not into anything having to do with Danny outside of Claude/Danny but this was awesome! I like think of him with people taller than him, Prongs and Danny is to hot to handle. What I really liked is the growth of friendship into love that you wrote, how every one around them was catching on and getting used to it. The ending? My fav part.

Hee! Thanks for taking the leap of faith ^_^

Glad you liked it, and yeah - there is a kitchen island, and a trainer's table, and the stairs, and a lot of time on the couch, and the bed in their love life. Very little actually happens on even footing, for various practical reasons.

Hee! I'm glad you liked it (and I'm glad it was a pleasant surprise, rather than a traumatic one)!

Honestly, Danny was almost as oblivious to the emotional aspects of the relationship as Chris was - they were both just so tired and busy and struggling to keep up that anything extra was just ignored until "later."

There is a ridiculous amount of 'canon' that did not make its way into this because of time constraints on the writing end of things. Sylvie ends up quietly adopting Lilah, because she always wanted a daughter and because Lilah is just much easier to deal with when they give in and let her tag along with Carson when the dads are out of town. She's also by far the most proficient of the Prongerlets at French, and embraces French Fridays with great enthusiasm, chattering away to the Briere boys. [/snippet-ish-exposition]

Thanks for reading!! The bb!Staal/Skinner fic should be going up on the 24th, too ^_^
