to be honest, i never thought i would have to deal with racism. i just thought i was lucky enough to be away from all of that. then i came to korea. its odd. not being white, but being treated differently just cause they think i am. this is definately something new

my sister is dealing with the same thing.
the want pure americans to teach english, they kept saying "you look chinese", my sister insisted that she wasn't. she got a job, but she's getting paid less.
