HELLO REPLICA-MUN /o/

So, I have a question in the FAQ for the mods on how to deal with Luke's old CR. I know what the current rules are for it! But it really seems kind of unnecessary, so I'm hoping they'll revisit that a little so that I don't have to play Luke as if he's forgotten everyone he's met in the last two years ^^;

Anyway! In trying to keep with the spirit of the rule but not... not play until I get an answer back from the mod, in cases of characters Luke had CR with before, I'm just asking the mun's how they would like to handle it. Luke was friends with both Riku and the Replica at camp, and since the Riku Replica and Luke are both replicas, Luke knows a bit of his background and issues and such. Not a WHOLE lot, they weren't super close, but reasonably familiar.

Would you be interested in playing with this, or would you prefer I just not have Luke remember him? I'm fine with whichever you choose, but wanted to ask before I reply to you <3

(CFUD's replica is awesome, I've been peeking at 'em for a looonnng time, and love the analysis essays up on his journal a ton.)

That said, I don't personally mind him being recognized at all, that's fine by me, but I'd double check with the mods on the CR policy, as I wouldn't wanna be the one to put you in a green light position then get'cha in retconning troubles.

...The cross-games ruling is kinda weird in operation, I agree.

Yeah it's. I really don't know how to work with it. Even if he forgets faces and names but remembers everything else, it doesn't make sense... Like. Luke remembers Mukuro, Mukuro is here! Mukuro and Gokudera had a lot of conflict based on their canon relationships! But he's supposed to not remember Gokudera even though it's easy to figure out from context...

It gives me a headache 8( I'd rather just be a polite RPer and keep my CR.

I've been waiting for a reply from the mods for a week now though, maybe I can find another way to reach them.

Do you mind if I wait on replying to you until I get an answer?

(And yes CFUD's replica is fab. I was rereading my old threads with him when I played Riku and made myself sad)

I don't mind waiting on it at all, I'd rather make sure we're all ruled-cleared. But as far as personal permissions go, I'm cool with any cross-game knowledge/CR as long as it doesn't 4th wall in the "Hey you're a fictional character" sense?

I just have one quick question: I'm working on an NV post for the Viscera plot, but Pickles and Joe also have something set up today, and I was wondering if you wanted to thread that out or just hand wave it? I'm sure we could just shrug off the technical stuff that Joe's setting up, but we could always do something with whatever happens afterwards, if you think Joe might feel like talking to him about music, the party or whatever. :'3
