[That would be an upset Naoto chasing a Drifloon in possession of her hat. The Drifloon is crooning smugly and floating along juuust out of reach, clearly using the hat as a lure to get her to follow it.]

Mama says that high schoolers shouldn't try and get rid of their ears, though. I dunno what she means, but she says that the ears are supposed to fall off after you get married. Then you're an adult.

To be truthful, the idea of a visible sign is a little weird to me.

No... but whether one is a child or not is judged by age and appearance. Because I am small, sometimes I am mistaken for being younger than I am. I have been called 'nothing but a child' frequently in the past.
