my family has this thing where they feel the need to each hold a separate party for my brother who is leaving for law school on wednesday. its been non-stop family since thursday, on most days i saw my mom's side and my dad's (that means two parties a day! wtf!). not necessary.

i'm really jealous that all of the bloggers that i read celebrate Midsummer and Midsummer's Eve. this makes me really jealous as an american. i mean, granted america doesn't have a real pagan history but, i still want to dress up and have a maypole and a bonfire and a feast and so much fun.

yesterday morning i went to my cousins' graduation in the organ pavillion, i didn't get home til 4. sucks. but then char came over and we had a silly good time.
