Wow...yeah each pic looks like a transformation to the next!

(About the brightness...I learned a tip from DoA that might help: tape a few layers of bubble wrap over your flash. That way the light is still there but not as harsh. It works wonders for me ^^)

oh wow that worked wonders. i didn't have any bubble wrap so i used a piece of paper towel and it worked great! this is great haha you have no idea the turmoil I've gone through with my dumb camera. it takes great pictures outside with the flash during the day, but inside the flash is to brutal

Paper towel, huh? Glad it worked for you! Yeah I absolutely hate flash because it's so overpowering but there are ways to tame it. ^^;
