Thanks for posting! I know, continuations are the type of book a 'true' Austenite should probably never read, but only a dedicated fan would ever take the time to look up in the first place. I can't help myself, I think it's the lazy version of fan fiction ;)
I wish I could make fanvids. I'm limited to creating wallpapers of a very amateur variety ;) I've been watching the efforts of those who do have a knack for editing and a musical ear on YouTube, going through all the different Emma music vids, and there are loads! (I've also been collecting the song titles for a playlist, but that's another level of sadness altogether.)
Oh, and Sandy Welch definitely makes 'fanvids' of classic novels - adding dialogue, reinterpreting characters, etc. - but she does it so well! The card-carrying Janeites were horrified with the 2009 Emma, because she threw all the Regency etiquette and stilted dialogue out the window, but I thought she really brought the book to life. The novel is one thing, which I love, and an adaptation is another. (See? I remembered my lesson!)
