I couldn't have penned a better review. Cut and Run was the first M/M novel I've ever read. And it, and it's sequels, will always hold a special place in my heart. They've all kept me on the edge of my seat, wondering how the plot and the relationship between Ty and Zane would pan out. The characters are so tangible, you can't help but get attached to them. So the long and short of it is that I'd like to thank you-and Abigail- for writing such a wonderful series. And wish you the best on your books to come.

Like other's here, I'm anticipating the release of Divide and Conquor. This is by far one of the best series and character's I've read.
Personally though, I don't think Zane gets enough credit. I see him as a smart, complex character, and as a successful Special Agent, up to the death of his wife which seemed to be a catalyst that sent him spiraling out of control. By the time he was partnered with Ty, he had come quite a ways in redeeming himself with the Bureau, even though he always feels like he's on his last foot.
In some ways he seems to have the stronger ego of the two. This enables him to step back and let Ty take the lead, that and the fact that he truly admires Ty's abilities. I was a bit surprised Zane didn't figure out the Soduko code in Fish & Chips--that seemed right up his alley.
I'd like to see a bit more focus on Zane's strengths, and maybe Ty learning to respect and depend on those a bit more.
