That song is in my master file, actually, which is all the songs in general I listen to when writing these guys. It's not made a specific playlist yet, but I'm sure it will!
I have a feeling I'm going to be listening to Marc Broussard's "Let Me Leave" on repeat after this book. It's such a heart-wrenching song, and I always think of the boys when I listen to it. Poor Zane. :-( http://youtu.be/16LZrK2Erd4
And, of course, every time I listen to Matthew Duffy's "Until the End" I think of them. That song is sex into music. ;-)
I had a hard time hearing the Broussard song. I'll go get it from iTunes. I like the feel of the Duffy song, it didn't really click with me for Ty/Zane. Neat, though!

Did you ever download the Broussard song? Also, if we have questions about certain songs going along with certain scenes from the previous books may we ask? I realize it could get tiring, but I was just wondering about a few songs.
I did, yes. Nice, and I figured out why he sounded so familiar. I have a song of his with Leann Rimes: When It's Good.
Sure, I don't mind answering questions about where songs connect with stories, as long as it's the past books. I won't spoil any of D&C. Keep in mind the music connections are all my opinions; Abigail has her own soundtracks. If you want, I could start a new post about this. Maybe some other people would like to know too.
Actually, it's a great song for Ty/Zane. The hope is there but it's not always roses with them. It just makes me catch my breath though because the fight for their love continues and I suspect D&C is not going to end all happy-happy. Which is fine :). The piggy with the bandaid on the cover though, makes me all kinds of nervous.
I think one of the reasons they might be freaking out is because the video concept for that nickelback song involves a woman who is grieving over the death of her guy. In one version of the video the girl dies at the end and only then is her ghost able to find happiness with the ghost of her man. In another version throughout the whole video the ghost of the man is following her around trying to talk and comfort and explain but he's helpless and unable to effectively communicate with her. It’s less like SOMEDAY, if we keep trying, our relationship will work out and more like, SOMEDAY we'll be together again (YIKES). The video is probably more a metaphorical interpretation of the song lyrics which to me wants to highlight the communication difficulties between a two people who, effectively, live on "different planes". At least I’m pretty (desperately) sure nobody’s gonna die in the upcoming book...
Ahhh, well, that explains a bit, I suppose. I don't watch the videos, even when I link up the youtube. I'm just interested in the lyrics and the sound/tone of the music.

Let me know what you think if you want.
P.S. I also cried when I listened to "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room".
