Once upon a time there was a little girl with little veins who had to get her teeth of (little) wisdom removed. The doctor had a little trouble locating her little vains, and so he had to poke her little arm several times with an needle so that she would take a little nap. He's also put a little mask over her noise which was a little weird for her ( Read more... )

i only took half of one vicodin pill. other than that, i took some advil the day of, and it was clear sailing from then on.

i'm glad my veins stay still. i'm not as cooperative as you are, so my veins need to be.

Thanks. I have no memory of what I did on the way home. I barely remember writing this post, though I do remember talking w/ you on IM at some point today.

I'm @ home-home.
I've had no post-op pain!
Though, I do feel awfully dizzy if I stand for more than a few minutes. Makes the prospect of showering a little difficult.

heh. i think this was very cute because your entries are always so grammatically perfect and this was all dopey. ah i remember when i got my wisdom teeth out they also could not find a vein and my arm got bruised for months...

Aww, thanks. I am a bit grammarholic in writing, but I'll let 'em all slide just because for you.

That didn't even make sense. Ha. And I switched to Advil today, honest!

I have four or five needle holes in my arms including the back of my left hand and the inside of my left elbow, but I hope the skin will heal quickly w/out much bruising. They used that really sticky tape which hurt like the dickens when pulling off.

Thanks. Just had another bowl of the stuff after I downed a bowl of homemade mashed potatoes with turkey gravy. Really, who needs solid foods? Good luck with the novel writing yourself! I want to break 20K this weekend.
