Hi Guys!
So I'm doing a fundraiser for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and I thought it might be fun to take some of my most popular icons and recreate them as t-shirt (or mouse pads or mugs or whatever you want to order)!
So I've opened a store on Zazzle called "Geeks Care".
Here's a link to the store

Hey Madeline Anne,
This is random and I don't know if you remember me (or if you will even see/get notified of this).
I'm reading through my old Livejournal entries (in an attempt to reconnect with my younger self - it's useful, eye-opening, if also painful) and I keep coming across such kind and thoughtful comments that you left on my posts (circa 2006).
I don't even remember how we came to be LJ friends (a mutual love for Buffy?) but I do remember you, and re-reading your comments made me wonder how you are? I really hope you are doing well!

Hi Iris!
How lovely to hear from you!
Wow. So much has changed. It's hard to believe how long ago that was. I miss LJ because there was so much connection on more than a "Like" level.
I'm doing fairly well. Still working for Broadway Cares, but have mostly given up on acting. So I've started writing. I've written two YA urban fantasy novels in the last year and am now in the "trying to find a literary agent" phase of the process, which is kind of like being in the audition trenches, but the huge plus is that queries to lit agents can be send from my love seat while wearing pajamas. :)
How are you? I hope all it wonderful with you!
Thank you for reaching out!
XOXO
Madeline

Omg I'm so glad you got my message and wrote back! Such a lovely surprise =)
Wow that is fantastic you wrote two novels!! It takes a lot of dedication (not to mention imagination) to create and finish something like that. I really hope you will find an agent and get it published. I love YA, most books I read are YA.
I'm doing really well (I'm glad to say, also especially if compared to my mental health back when I wrote on this LJ!), I have 2 kids (9 & 11yo), still living in London, a few years ago I started painting and also teaching art online (with a focus on expression and self-discovery), I make vlogs and recently started a podcast (I sound busy lol).
