Well, that was kind of dumb (instant karma).

A significant percentage of things that could go wrong on my last day at work, went wrong. I was training two new guys in incubation testing and there was bad paperwork and a malfunctioning pH meter that we didn't know about until way too late. I ended up nervous and annoyed on the drive home. I saw a holdup ahead of me on the freeway and cut ( Read more... )

Sorry to hear you had a bad day and a bit of an accident.

The Subaru place I pointed you to is open today, but closed Sunday / Monday...if you're going to head that way, give Matt a call.

My parents Subaru is over there as I type this :)

Give call whenever also...we need to hang out soon!

1. Thanks for the Mountain Tech info! I think, though, that I'll take it to the place two blocks from my house. It's just so much more convenient for retrieval, and front end/suspension jobs don't really require the kind of make expertise that is Mountain Tech's big draw for me. Unless that rear end rattling is the rear diff with a sheared tooth, I guess. Oh, gees, this gets more annoying the more I write about it. But the rear end isn't something I'm terribly concerned about. The front end is the safety factor, and I guess I'll get that taken care of near my home. I can always drive it to Mountain Tech afterward for rear diff work if I have to. Bluebook on the car isn't much over $1k, though, so I'm going to play the whole thing by ear and not commit to fully repairing everything. With my new job, maybe I'll just get the Loyale safe and then save up for a better car ( ... )

Gotcha on all fronts!

Firstly, I came across this in my wanderings on CL -

http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/pts/2546092253.html

Someone is parting out a 1992 Loyale...I thought of you and your post from above.

Secondly, hanging out would be great! And actually, there weren't a lot of people at my return shindig...Mike, Breanne, Niv, Skeets and her guy (later on), Don and Aundria.

=)

If there comes a time you want to sell your Loyale, let me know!
