Dude, I totally drew a portrait of Jonathan Brandis to send to him, and couldn't quite get the eyes right... I think I actually DID end up sending it sans eyes, and wrote some bs excuse, like "I didn't draw your eyes because they change with your characters blah blah blah", instead of sucking it up and drawing bad eyes so the picture would be complete. Oh for being a teeny bop girl.

Hahaha, no. That's awesomely horrible, and I LOVE it.

I don't know if this is on par with yours, but when I wrote my fan letter to Elijah Wood I had read somewhere that Elijah really missed having "real" friends because he was a celeb and stuff, so I wrote him and offered my pen pal services, and then was totally shocked when he didn't take me up on my offer. BUT the whole thing DID end in a positive way, because he sent me an autographed picture instead -sigh- which I then kissed good night every night until I knew better.
