It's sunny but it's cold, I think this is the first time I've been happy to see the sun in months. It's winter sun, the kind that hovers over by the north horizon and lengthens shadows and makes it seem like evening all day long. Aris and I spent the morning in Kangaroo Ground at a house that backs on to the Yarra. It was very nice.

That sounds very pleasant. Much more pleasant than Toby screaming at 8 in the morning when you only managed to get to sleep at 4. :)

My own grumpiness aside, it sounds lovely - it reminds me of when you used to sit on the porch at your old house and paint in the mornings. Often when I think of you, I picture you sitting on that porch painting. I think I'm getting sentimental.

Allan.

Sentimental for Preston or Fairfield? You know we're pretty much down the street from the Darebin Parklands here, it's winter, maybe we could wander over there one afternoon.

You know, going on with Jane's train of thought - perhaps we should go there in the night time for real oldtimes sake. And not forget condoms this time..

I am talking about Fairfield. To be honest, I disliked a lot about your old house, but the doorstep on the back porch and your old giant bungalow room have good mojo.

If I visited your place in our summer time, your winter time, I would never have to deal with excruciating heat ever again... XD
