i do Not "hate" quite a bit. I just happen not to like that theater, add to the fact that its all the way in San Jose (well almost) and that there are a number of theaters between here and there. plus mercado is always crowded.

Well, Mercado has better seating than Shoreline, and both are in my neighborhood, hence, the suggestion.
