Total drag, man. Is it a lost cause at this point or can it be saved?

To follow up I was able to break the parts down and remove the shit that was broken. I emailed hobby link japan about ordering a replacement runner. Luckily it was all from the same runner. we will see how long it takes and whether or not they can accomadate me, but I am told it is something they do often.
