You're right that it's probably best to err on the side of prudence. I don't hide my journal because really I don't have anything to hide. I believe that if someone finds something they don't understand about you, that you should have a right to explain yourself.

Back when I was job hunting, I considered doing the same. Though I came to realize that if I had to hide my journal just to get a job flipping burgers then the world had gotten crazy enough to justify not caring. So I kept mine open. :p

Sounds wonderful, I'll do the same! And you talk about much less TMI than I do, so I'd say you're safe if you're ever job-hunting again. :)

Yeah, sorry, livejournal account is necessary to see the friends locked stuff. But, I haven't been on here in a grip, so all the exciting stuff (BP boycott foibles included) is on Facebook at the moment. But I will totally friend you if you wanna go through the pain of getting an account. ^_^

Casey! Whoo Livejournal! The lateness of this reply is evident of my current abuse of my poor LJ. But the friending has occurred!

And thank you; I am totally flattered. The stuff on my LJ lately is anti-entertaining, unfortunately, but I will strive to be more so in the future. And, shall I see your highly entertaining writing at Something With a Hyphen? For I will be reading it! ^_^
