I love it, in the last few days i have tried to get a fucking guitar center card, and get this a pay pal thing that is like a credit line, Denied both times, I CANT GET FUCKING CREDIT!!!!!!!!! WHY!!!!! becuase I dont have credit, UMM HELLO FUCKERS!!!!!!! it would be nice if I could get a credit card to start building some wouldn't ya think ( Read more... )

Or you could try www.capitalone.com and get a credit card. They start you at a really low minimum ($200) with really high interest, but they will give a card to anyone. That's how I started out and my credit is good now.

credit cards are not a good way to build credit. They do build but very slowly and revolving credit doesnt always look good. Credit cards are revolving credit. Not only that if you go over what you are given that is a negative mark.
Loans are the best way to go. Because its a contract. Credit cards your payments change all the time depending on how much you have outstanding. Seriously it is not the way to go if a person is wanting ot build credit.
NOW capital one not only do they charge very very high interest on their credit cards but I do believe the one that your refering to also has an annual fee.
If person A were to take out a loan for 6 months of $1000 and person B were to get a credit card for a thousand person A would have the better credit score after 6 months.
This is what I do for a living. I know this stuff like the back of my hand. If not better.
