My second times to write hetero fic which don’t get any better. And I’m trying to be a good example for
grace_uni , so let’s start it with hetero fic...
These are what I get after got hit on the head by a glass, a messier mind, and some irrational fantasy, the reasons of writing this fic... And oh, no, why did I write about Kyuhyun instead of thinking some way to make him crying? Okay, just some pointless mumble here...

Carving Phoenix
He stood in front of an apartement door. He had knocked the door many times, but there was no answer. He sighed, maybe the occupant was not home. He decided, maybe waiting for another five minute would work. He already waited for five another minute and the occupant hadn’t showed up. He leaned on his back on the door, waiting.
The elevator door was opened, he turned his head to the elevator direction on the end of the hall. There was her, all of her clothes were wet. She tilted her head in confusion, looking at him.
“Cho Kyuhyun, why are you here?” She asked, approaching Kyuhyun.
“You are soaked.”
She showed her childish grin,” I got caught in rain on my way home.”
“Have you heard something called take shelter?” Kyuhyun said.
“You should thank me for not taking shelter or you would have been the one who soaked.” She said back, her tall figure slipped between Kyuhyun and the door.
She reached for her key and unlocked the door.
“Why are you here?” She entered the apartement.
“Taking shelter.” Kyuhyun answered.
She just nodded and threw her shoes in the shoe case.
“Where did you go?” Kyuhyun took his shoes off.
“I’m a university student Cho Kyuhyun. Where else I go?” She threw her bag to the only sofa in the room.
“I’m going to bathe. Do anything you like.” She entered her room.
Kyuhyun sat on the sofa which she just threw her bag to. This room never changed a bit. There were only a sofa, a television, and an audio set in the living room. The floor was tainted by many colorful dots and stains. Canvases were everywhere with some unfinished paint on it. And the left over of carving were on the other corner along with an unfinished carving. Kyuhyun smiled. Knowing her character well, she must be lost her fun on it and stopped.
Kyuhyun stood and approached a pile of canvasses. He looked each canvas in admiration. Her painting was always good. Ah, no, Kyuhyun thought, she was always good at everything as long as she had interest on it. Kyuhyun remembered how she rejected to attend extra class for Math Olympic because she said that learning Math for Olympic was not fun, how she easily stopped playing basketball because she was bored, and how she easily studied art whereas she could go to Law or Medical school easily, and her reason was because doing something that everyone do was not fun.
“What are you doing? Don’t touch my works.”
Kyuhyun smiled and kept examining at her works. She never meant it. It was just her nature to talk harshly and be a fierce person. Kyuhyun took one of the canvasses and faced her. She wore an oversized t-shirt that tainted with colorful dots and stains just like the floor and faded trousers. Kyuhyun smiled inside his heart, this girl never failed making him admiring her but also thinking that how could he like this girl.
“I like this one.” Kyuhyun showed her a picture of a shore with a sapphire blue sea, and a high cliff on the end of the shore. “Can I take it?”
“That one was fail.” She said, draining her hair with towel. “Don’t take it.”
“Whatever, I like this and I’m taking it.”
“Well, if you like fail thing.” She sat in front of the unfinished carving.
“Why don’t you finish it?” Kyuhyun asked.
“I don’t feel like continuing this.” She stared at the carving.
Kyuhyun sat on the floor, looking at her back. “The same reason that you broke up with your ex?”
She nodded, her hair was still wet and messy.
“You are too cold as a girl.”
“Look, who is talking. A person, who has sarcastic disease like you, doesn’t have any right to said that to me.”
“It’s your fault to spread the sarcastic disease to me.”
“Then it’s your fault to not have any immunity to resist the disease.” She added.
Kyuhyun decided that he was better to not argue her. Learning from his experiences, arguing with her was just bringing him to his own humiliation.
“Kyuhyun.”
“Yes?”
“When are you going to leave?” She asked.
“Are you chasing me away?”
“No. I’m going to continue some work and I don’t feel right to let my unwanted guest by himself while I’m doing my work.” She was still staring at the carving.
“It’s okay. I’m waiting the rain to stop. If you want to do your work, just do it. I’m your unwanted guest anyway.”
“Right then.” She stood up, walked to her room and after a moment came out with a plastic box.
“Are you going to continue the carving?” Kyuhyun asked.
She didn’t answer in fact she took out a chisel from the box. Kyuhyun sighed, here she went again. She was in trance. She wouldn’t be able to recognize her surrounding until she finished. She started hitting the chisel with a small hammer on some corner of the carving.
Kyuhyun looked at the window, he was relief because the rain hadn’t stopped yet. So he could enjoy her back-figure longer.
She was a wild bird, Kyuhyun thought. A wild bird that lived freely. A wild bird that wouldn’t mind to get dirty on her wings. A wild bird that was able to feed himself. A wild bird that lived on her own. A wild bird who would struggle when a hand of a man touched her. A wild bird who he didn’t dare to have because he was afraid of lost her. A wild bird that he couldn’t have because of staring at her like this was just enough for him. A wild bird that was far from his ideal girl. Kyuhyun laughed inside his heart, laughing at himself. How could he fall for her?
***************
Kyuhyun could smell the scent of ramen though he was still closing his eyes. He opened his eyes, and he saw her sitting in front of TV, watching a show. And he could hear the sound of her eating ramen and another sound of her laughter.
“I’m hungry.” Kyuhyun spoke absentmindedly.
She turned her head to Kyuhyun. The ramen was hanging on her mouth while her hand was holding chopsticks.
“YOWHAREUPH.” She said something while was trying to munch the ramen.
“Yes, I am. And I’m hungry.” Kyuhyun stood up and walked to the kitchen.
“Where is the ramen?” Kyuhyun searched on her kitchen case.
“This one that I’m eating now is the last.” She said.
Kyuhyun sighed. He looked at his watch, 6.43pm. No wonder. He only had a piece of bread for his breakfast, he had a strict practice before and he was damn hungry now.
“Share it with me.” Kyuhyun approached her.
“Nope.” She was eating hurriedly now.
Kyuhyun grabbed her hand and seized her chopsticks.
“There is no wrong to share your food with your hungry friend.” Kyuhyun said and started eating ramen.
She snorted in annoyance but didn’t do anything to take over her food.
“I think you are busy with your schedule.”
“I don’t have any since I’m preparing Super Junior M’s comeback.” Kyuhyun was eating her ramen greedily.
“Oh, so you are going to China again?” She asked.
Kyuhyun nodded, “Why? You miss me already?”
She snorted again in annoyance. Kyuhyun looked at the corner of her room where a unfinished craving was there before.
“You finished it?” Kyuhyun’s mouth was parted in awe.
She nodded, taking over the chopsticks and started eating ramen.
“In one day?” Kyuhyun stood up and examined the carving.
Kyuhyun touched the craving, a phoenix with spread wings, fierce eyes and elegant long tail. Kyuhyun sat in front of the carving, admiring the details she carved.
Kyuhyun’s eyes wandered to every detail the phoenix had. He smiled unconsciously. It was great. As great as the girl that made it.
“It’s great.”
“I don’t know why I don’t feel happy when you said it’s great.” She added.
“It is.” Kyuhyun stared at her.
“With sarcasm or without sarcasm?” She stared back.
“Without sarcasm.”
“Oh, thank you then.” She slurped her ramen with a noisy sound.
“The rain has stopped.” Kyuhyun looked at the window.
“Yeah, go away then.”
“Not after I finish my meal.” Kyuhyun approached her and took over the chopsticks.
***************
Kyuhyun was staring at the girl whom was sleeping on the sofa. She was sleeping peacefully. Kyuhyun knew, sometimes a wild bird needed a rest. Kyuhyun sighed, though he wanted to accompany her rest so much, but he had no right for that. Kyuhyun stood up, it was his time to go before Leeteuk called him and lectured him for being so late to go back to dorm. And Kyuhyun stared at her once more before he left.
~End of Carving Phoenix~
Okay, I can write about my bias only and Kyuhyun is not my bias. So, yes, fail. Oh, and I know that I have to learn English harder... I always accept bashing and anything…
