[Private - medium hackability]

How curious. I seem to have some sort of magical gift. I mean...I suppose I knew before...but the eldest daughter of three never has magical abilities. I mean, Martha is far more suited to that sort of thing, but it sounds like Lettie is the one learning magic now and... But it explains a lot. The costumes, how ( Read more... )

tea does not solve everything, haberdashery, chosen family, magic frying pan, i'm a tailor not a..., oops, winding way, costumes, uh-oh, tea solves everything, mortifying embarrassment

Well! Well...! If they don't cause the bad kind of trouble, I don't see anything wrong with that!

Oh, I'm quite sure nothing I may have accidentally magiced is meant to cause trouble. But I was planning on going through an checking, just in case. Nothing to worry about, I'm sure!

That's great, then! Also, if the enchanted costumes help us, then I think it's ok to keep em. Just don't be making any pirate-ninja-assassin-zombie costumes and we're good.

Hm. Well, it sure doesn't look like the sort I use, so I doubt you it would be of much help to me.

Everything's better with more sparkles, if you ask me.

More noticeable, sure. But I think better is a point of contention when it comes to sparkles.

I doubt the trouble will be more than the benefit of having an enchantress on board, Sophie!

Until we get a mage that could be able to answer some of your questions, I think you should experiment as much as possible to see what you can discover yourself.

For example, are costumes the only objects you can enchant? Can you control how you enchant them? If I understand properly, your enchantments seem to enhance the...I'm not sure what the word is. They enhance the object's purpose I guess.

Try to see if you can enchant other objects that aren't clothing related.

I certainly hope not! I've been earning my keep so far, I'd hate to cause more trouble than I'm worth.

Planning on it. Though probably on my own things, to keep the magic as controlled as possible.

I think, and this is only a theory, that the enchantments may have something to do with me speaking...ah, speaking to the objects (a very bad habit of mine, I'm aware). ...In which case, I may already have in my possession a non-clothing item that has been enchanted...

But, yes, of course, I will keep you up to date.
