note to self

if you are going to swim endurance, do not swim 75 laps freestyle (after finswimming and a tai chi class) and then attempt to use your fins for additional finswimming when your hands and knuckles get too sore from the paddles. No, I pretty much cleared it up right away once I was able to get out of the pool. No amount of stretching in there was going to help more than it did (it was interesting getting out - I managed without too many problems though I was worried.) I got into the hot tub afterward and that was good.

It was pretty funny. Despite the pain I was laughing. It was ridiculous and I totally knew better but I'm stubborn.

The better solution was to take of the paddles and swim the other 15 or so laps I was intending without them...but I wanted to work harder. Unfortunately, the joints were giving out, lol. I had bruises and pain in my knuckles a few days ago and it took me a while to realize it was from the paddles...so I was really trying not to have that happen again.
