Apartments/houses for rent?

My roommates and I are getting into apartment hunting season without much luck so far, so figured I'd drop a line here to see if anyone has any tips on places that aren't as well known or advertised. We're hoping for at least a 3-4 bedroom with a good amount of common space and private space; an apartment would work, but we're also considering

We rented from Brende Hofer of Hofer & Steadman Properties and would unreservedly recommend her. She treats you like an adult and her properties are relatively well maintained. I believe she's got a few in your target zone. Never hurts to give her a call and see what she's got.
