dog help needed!!

Ok so Zoe's yes have been discharging green stuff for about 4 days. i took her to the vet he said it may be the start of an eye infection so he gave me ointment to put in her eyes. Now the side of one eye has swelled up looks like a blister sort of. wtf? He says to give her benedryl but not sure about that. HELP???!!!

I've given my dogs Benadryl before on a vet's recommendation and it was fine. Just verify how much ... and don't get the decongestant kind - just regular benadryl. Hope her eyes clear up soon!

Look up "cherry eye" on an image search. If that's what Zoe has, you may want to take her to the vet.

The dosage of Benydril for dogs is 1mg per pound. Crianza takes it every spring for her allergies and Celosa took some a few weeks ago for her butt irritation.
