Shame I couldn't make it. Being across the country makes it a bitch to help with a housewarming. Hopefully the new digs are cooler than the last ones.

Did you take part in the parade afterwards?

No. First, we didn't know about it and second, we were kinda recovering from the party. We went to Seva for breakfast and went back to bed. earthfiregirl bought me a "I Braked for Jake" memorial t-shirt out front of the funeral home and we were interviewed for the Ann Arbor News. I don't know if we made it in, though.

d00d... sorry couldn't be at the party, and got the news from Da about Jake. Glad you made the funeral -- that's an "i was there" story for God damn sure. Does that count on your "jealous concert" meme from awhile back? Damn. I gotta try to score me a copy of the obit.
