The time for revolution has long been at hand, and many a generation has come and gone that has wanted to be the next legion of flower children.
I wish Obama luck in delivering his message, but it will take more than a vote, and more than a President. I dare to hope he's more than that, but it will be us who will have to show our worth if change will come. Fighting off Diebold is barely the first step.
I agree, but the feeling and the movement has to start somewhere. I do think that this is probably one of the few times when "trickle down" works. We've been looking at corrupt assholes for so long that I think having someone to believe in is a very good idea. I am 35. I have never had the opportunity to vote for someone I wanted to vote for. Just people who weren't as bad as the other guy.

Is that only true because you wont vote 3rd party?
I agree -- a leader in nomine would be a great start, which is why i say i hope Obama is more than just another major-party showman selling us the Shiny-Du-Jour. If he wins, he could truly rally the nation -- but it might cost him being a "great President" if he wishes to truly be a great leader.
Hey, the idea starts here. I have nothing against third parties. I voted straight Green in 2002 in response to the Democrats not running a campaign against where Bush and the government were already obviously headed. But, I think there's genuinely something going on here. And I am in.

I feel that this could be a change in direction.
