I live in Massachusetts, where we give people a basic income including food, shelter, education and medical care that works out to be about the standard of living you'd get on a laborer's wage. But because it's means-tested, you can't get it if you work.
I put an ad up and have had zero humans respond. Spambots, yes. Humans who want to exchange labor for income? None.
