January
Hah. I put "nerdy" because I'm actually doing my homework. :-D
February
So much drama. *sigh*
^^Isn't THAT the story of my life...
March
I think I made a stupid mistake on every single question on the math quiz. But I got full points on the gatekeeper, which never happens, so yay! Our WHAP project is slightly amusing - but it's still a project, even if it does involve making a seating chart... band was band. Analicia had flash cards in her lap (um... you're in the front row... it's not like he won't notice...) and he was like "I'M GOING TO THROW THOSE IN THE GARBAGE!!" and he had his mad face on and it was funny.
April
I'm playing the 2nd flute part for West Side Story!! I'm so excited!!!! I didn't know that there was more than one flute part... and Ally and Catherine didn't want to do it, so now I am!!!! I wasn't sure if I had enough time to do it, but how many times does your school do West Side Story as a musical?!? Yeah. That's what I thought.
^^oh the drama of that particular situation. Gah.
May
Quote of the day:
Mrs. Himmelberger: "Well, I guess you could pronounce it aRITHmetic or arithMETic, however you feel comfortable."
Kate Dwyer: "Wow. I'm glad I have that option."
June
So... I survived the extremely long pyramid concert, and my chem final, and I actually wrote the rough draft of my descriptive essay . And had my band "audition" that doesn't really matter, and had flute choir and saw the Traveling Pants movie with Rachel and Natalie and Chrissy and Heather and went to Chili's and yay! I miss seeing Heather. And had a very nice conversation with Kim this morning.
All I want to do is run. But it's raining. And it needs to stop. I haven't been on a run by myself in forever. And I don't want to run on the treadmill. Because you never go anywhere.
^^ugh.
July
Hey guys!!
I am finally home. It's been... interesting. And I will write tons more later, but I have to go call Natalie now!! :-D
August
So... my grandma is amazing. Bridgewater was awesome. My relatives are insane, but at least they keep things interesting. The air is different down there. I can just sit out on the porch and watch the river and look up at the mountains and it's like everything is going to be okay. I can just close my eyes and not have to worry about anything. Some days we would only leave the house/porch to get the mail. We'd just watch TV and read and eat and sleep and talk about everything. Sometimes we'd go out to visit her friends or to the mall or to visit her mother in the home or to have dinner with the relatives. But mostly it was just us. It's funny that my best friend in the entire world is a 78-year-old woman. But that's just how it is sometimes.
^^This makes me sad, because I probably won't have time to spend a week with her this summer. A weekend during band camp, maybe. Blah. I wish summer was longer.
September
I'm so excited about seeing EMMA SCHLOSSER on Friday!!!!! :-D
^^well, that about sums it up!! :-D
October
So I'm going to homecoming with David Choi... haha. It should be fun. But it was so spur of the moment, lol. And our very postponed flute section audition that has been reduced to me, Analicia, and Ally is on Thursday. Chem test Monday, APUSH test Tuesday/Wednesday, Powderpuff Thursday, and tons of HC stuff Friday and Saturday. And I'm probably going to the field hockey game on Wednesday. Haha we actually WON our lacrosse game today, even though I sucked. I was so out of it. And then I went to the music school college fair at the Kennedy Center and got a crapload of information, haha.
^^That was... not a fun week. Except for the college fair, lol.
November
So I didn't get into BOA. Oh well, my tape wasn't that good anyway. But I am doing the Mason honor band next week - Kim, are you doing it?
December
HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY AVI BAEHR!!!! Dude I miss you!! I haven't seen since like 8th grade!!
And now, to watch Batman Begins with my brother. The joys of "babysitting"... wtf?
