Thank you for not drawing out that particular bit of angst. Rather loving the Shippers-on-deck, as well. :) You're also doing a rather brilliant job of lampooning the cult of celebrity, which I approve of. For as mad as it gets inside fandom, I am so utterly fed up with the notion that large amounts of supposedly legitimate news is given up to gossip and scandal in the celebrity realm. Half the time I think the fandom wank is validated by the tabloid culture we've wound up with.
Which is by way of saying: I think you know your way around satire exceedingly well and were you to write and publish an original work of same, I think it might do well. Look at The Devil Wears Prada.

I wondered if everyone assumed I'd be keeping them apart until chapter 11 and would be pleasantly surprised. No, I never wanted to drag it out too much.

Sherlock watching all of John's terrible romcoms is priceless. And the scene when Sherlock finds John in his dressing room - so heartachingly sweet.
