Considering how much I want To a Stranger to be a real movie, trust me the disbelief is readily suspended.

Can't wait for more, I love you so much, asdfadsfda Sherlock as Tesla etc. etc.

Also remember when you were musing about your meta in meta in terms of the interlude post re:Emmys, here's some extra meta about when gay people couldn't show up at awards shows period that was written in response to last week's Emmys(if you haven't read it already)

Agreeing wholeheartedly for the wish for To a Stranger to be a real movie.

Also, love the article that you linked to! Definitely shows that others (even if they aren't as high-profile) have been through what Sherlock and John are going through right now.

I quite like the idea that all this external input on Sherlock has his brain...masticating. Great word. That John knows that just being close and available but not clingy and chatty is enough for Sherlock.

The web content is great...like somehow other peoples ease or unease with their sexuality is a badge of honor. "I suffered and they didn't, so I'll be a prat about it" Really people? Really?

You have no idea how often that comment pops up on AfterElton for *real*. oh, and rants from old queens in real life about the younger generation not having had the real experience because they weren't persecuted by police or had to fight for it. I have had that one to my face. At which point I asked whether their right to vote was any less real since they'd not had to throw themselves under the king's horse to make a point.

Incredible. I'm sorry you've had to go through that. People just can't be happy for each other. Sorry I'll go have a sniffle now.

not so much hurt as flabbergasted. You just wonder how much their victimhood has taken over their sense of self.

Oh, the love I feel for you right now. All the awards for you. If there were Oscars for fics, this would win hands down.
