Mississippi Goddamn is one of the coolest songs out there.

One of (if not the most) talented female musicians ever, in my book. So many of her songs are timeless, and as such covered by countless other musicians (of whom most are not capable of doing the song justice, but nevermind). Mississippi goddamn is one of my favourite songs, not just of hers, but of anyone's. Some of her songs were incredibly brave considering the racism in the times they were written and released.

I remain, as ever, in awe of her.
