oy vey. I feel better than i felt earlier today. Not a helluva lot, but a little. I won't explain why, I just do. I'm of absolutely (positively) no use to myself, but hopefully I can be there for someone else from time to time? I'm thinking about a friend right now. There is school stuff I'm wrapping up too, of course, but my friends are more ( Read more... )

Self-hatred sucks. My doctor recommends self-love instead.

Bill Murray is a god.

Your method of providing DVD security based on your dental records is nothing short of genius.

I'm going now, to bite some CDs.

I bought TRT on the recommendations of several friends whose moviecal taste (what? we have musical taste, why not moviecal taste?) I tend to agree with... I have watched it twice so far, and enjoyed it both times, but have not had a chance to just sit down and watch it - completely, without ANY interruptions - since I got it. I need to. I think it would make far more sense to me that way.

ohhhhh, you should, you should! It's so wonderful. I admit I like Rushmore more, but largely because I just adore Bill Murray. But I do adore Gene Hackman too. Either one, they're brilliant, funny, and touching in a completely unique way. And you have to love the soundtrack choices, the sets, and the clothes! I love that look, "What decade is this? Is this contemporary? The 70s? What?" That just makes it more brilliant.

I looooooove Rushmore and The Royal Tennenbaums. On the Royal Tennenbaums, watch that feature on disc 2 where they interview extras and stuff from the show. It's hilariously stupid.
