the road so far: a short musing on spn season 6
already we've aired 7 episodes. glorious, depressing, fantastic, hateful, and beautiful.
here's my one and only resounding complaint:
where's the mullet rock?
is it just me or have the episodes of this gloriously-fantastic depressingly-hateful and absolutely-beautiful season been almost completely devoid of rocking 80's beats?
i feel the empty space in my heart. the only thing i could assume is that we are waiting until sammy gets his soul back before dean pops a cassette tape in the impala and screws up the volume while shotgun shuts his cakehole. but it doesn't look like that's going to happen anytime soon as crowley isn't the most charitable type, especially when he's getting something out of this deal, and honestly, dreams like that just don't come true that easily in supernatural land. so, with the return of sammy's soul a long time coming, what then is the show waiting for? maybe they gave up... oh dear, that's a horrid idea isn't it?!
