I was thinking about the decision making process that lead me to leave Christian, to physically be the one to pack a bag and move out, (although he chose to end our marriage.)  He had in mind that I would live with him almost indefinately, until I 'got myself sorted out.'  Looking back, and doing a bit of mind reading, he 'wanted a divorce.'  I don ( Read more... )

I don't really ever wonder what X sees in Y, because hey, we're all made of teh different. I'm sure people don't know what D sees in me, or vice versa. But that's because they're not in this relationship. I wouldn't presume to understand anyone else's, either.

But on the other hand, I am frequently unsurprised when X leaves Y. So it goes.

I tend to assume that if someone's partner seems a bit of a jerk that they're not good with social situations, but then I didn't see you guys together but twice.

If I really dislike someone's partner, I just assume the partner must be a total tiger in the sack. :>
