a. i do believe we were on the dancefloor in the union, dancing to a song from Garbage (possibly "why do you love me"?) and i was all new and clueless about what LJ was and you showed me the way
( ... )
a) I do love Garbage, so that wouldn't surprise me! :D
b) Hmm. They're purple or black (or a mixture of both). Need to get another colour!
c) Have to send you another one in a bit. You still at the same address?
d) We need to do another Sin City very soon! It's been waaaaay too long! Anywho, we take hospitality very seriously at home, so that was the very least we could do!
e) If you learn the basics, I can help you, but I'm not a very good teacher. As for my hair, I wash it with shampoo and conditioner & put lave in conditioner. The rest has to do with how my hair is naturally anyway.
f) I haven't had the sparkly fairy for a while, guess I should add it back...
a. at the time, you told me as soon as you said you had LJ that only about 1 other person was allowed to read it. so maybe you friended me first? but if i did, then i guess i just decided to be hopeful you'd let me in one day anyway!
b. frilly (in a good, gothic way) black skirts :) also...WOLFMOTHER :D i also always have a tendany to think of you when i think of UV body paints because i connect you with that marvellous band of the Bath area ;)
c. your amazing organisational abilties in terms of making gigs happen and always know what is going on in the music scene it seems to me :D you are also an amazingly strong person and never lacks the enthusiasm for rocksoc relatednesssss *thumbs up* :)
d. bouncing about like the nutcases we are in the graduate club. also, at the EDD gig you put on in bath :)
e. organisationnessss. i am a beginner. can i be taught?
f. i don't recall seeing a different one to this one you've got right here, but it is a mighty cool piccy anyways :)
a. Because you have a huuuuuge heart, always ready to listen and support and I wanted to know you better!
b. I associate you with the Rococo/Cholo area of the union (if it still exists...it exists in my head still anyway...) - it's where I often used to see you in our 1st/2nd year at Rocksoc socials :)
c. I like your commitment to working hard for what you want and not getting distracted too much from it. You have an amazing listenabiltyness (real word - fact!) too :)
d. hahahaha, when me and Danny cooked you and Griff dinner at your house. i think you rather enjoyed it, especially because your choice of food can be a bit limited by Griff's fussy eating! :p
e. how do you work so hard so much? telllll me the secret!?
f. i like that duckling one right there - it is sooooooo cute n' fluffy!
a. you were a famous far-off and mighty rocksoccer back when i joined this little community, how could i not add you!?
b. hehe, viking helmets and drinking horns :D
c. you have a big heart, not afraid to put yourself out there for the sake of having a good time and for the sake of not afraid of being yourself. well done that man! ypu're also reliable (i don't mean that in a boring way, i mean it in a when you say you're going to turn up to something, you actually do...pretty important i reckon!)
d. the Caspfest. (woah, that was a trek on my part, but well worth it, hehe). inparticular, one night, a bunch of us were sitting in your living room, continuing to party on. you were passed out snoring! hehehe.
e. when did you first try mead and when did you first see a viking helmet and think "that's for me"?
Blimey, first time trying mead...? I think that must have been Real Ale Festival in my first year, although I have a sneaking suspicion it might have been earlier than that. Essentially the appeal of Vikings has been there since starting history but when Snarf did the Vikings song and it all took on a life of it's own I decided to lead by example. ;)
