I love ya, sweetie. And, you know how much I so don't hate Palin. ^_^ As for the rest . . . People need to use their brains a little more, I think, and not spend so long just reacting all the time. Emotion is good and wonderful, a fabulous engine for doing things., But the engine needs a good steering system to get to the goal without crashing at high speeds and killing everyone. . . ^_^

Hey there. You pose an interesting point. I don't hate who Palin is. I do disagree with some of her politics. I've posted some thoughtful articles about her on facebook/myspace or about this race on those sites, but I don't think I've posted any hateful articles. I see your point of view about being raped. I can't say what I'd do if I was in that position, but I can say that I'd be horrified if I didn't have the choice to have an abortion. That is why I've tried really hard to not get pregnant up until now (That among other things.) That being said, if I were to be raped and conceived a baby, I acknowledge that I can't predict how I'd react and that I'd have a difficult ( ... )

Thanks for that, it was very well thought out. I am also for women having choice. Ultimately though I think contraception is the ultimate goal and education so people do not have kids in the first place. For me, it is an issue of responsibility also. If you are of child bearing age and sexually active, then you should be using contraception. Rape, of course, then becomes the ultimate problem. I do really feel that people need to work with Rape victims months and years after they have abortions, it just changes your perspective. In some cases (actually I was with a women yesterday who was in this situation) having the child from the rape actually helped her to regain herself and to accurately identify who is the victim and who is the perpetrator. I just don't like people (not referring to my close friends) who make absolute statements without having experienced both sides of the equation ( ... )
