The outpouring from students across the Commonwealth and the world has been really tremendous. This picture just made me totally lose it.

For whatever reason, when I first saw this cartoon, that was the moment it hit me how big all of this really was. I went onto facebook soon afterwards, onto the group "I'm OK at VT" and looked at the list of names, as to "who is missing" and one by one seeing them trickle in, either dead or wounded. April 16 was one of the worst days of my life as well, all the way out here in New Mexico.
