though I'm entirely likely to change my mind, knowing me. But. I was going to post here with a whole list of pros and cons of moving into my own place. That sounds like a nice compromise between staying where you are and moving out of state. It will also help narrow down the source of your discontentment - if you become happy after the move, then you just needed space. If things don't improve, then there may be something about the location that bothers you.

I don't think I could live in a house with 5 people without feeling a bit claustrophobic. Why not throw a big party, so your friends can help you mark your new home with good memories. Then any tensions from moving could be displaced with happy party memories.
