In flipping back through my entries over the past year, I've noticed that it's coming up on a year since I began the campaign. (Apparently, and this I had forgotten, the day that I began the campaign was also the day that a very close friend of mine passed away. So much for feeling celebratory about it

Your improvement as a GM definitely shows - to me at least. But then, I'm prone to the same kind of post-game dissection of things that you are. The improvement really showed, for me, when I participated in the first in-person session I've had with you in nearly six months, when you started the new game at our FLGS. But thinking more on it, the level of detail and your ability to roll with whatever we throw out has really made the difference.
