To all you in cyber land! I have a question. My cousin and I have been looking at some Mormon texts, and have come up with a question:

Where are the golden plates that were given to Joeseph Smith by the "resurected personage" of Moroni?

The golden plates are aleegedly the accounts of the people of the America's. The are supposedly written in Reformed Egyptian however they were said to have been taken into heaven by Moroni so we have absolutely no proof of their physical existance ( ... )

The three major things to examine in every religion are -
1) Who is God?
2)How do we get to heaven (what is the method of salvation)?
3) What is the source of authority?

These three questions draw out uncompromisable differences between religions. Try and ascertain what these three salvational issues are in Mormonism, and I can share with you what they are according to the Bible.

Might you share your interest in Mormonism? Been reading through some literature given to ya by elders or LDS pals, or just have a general interest in the church?

The interest is more along the lines of we have a friend that is mormon, a cousin who had a mental breakdown and turned mormon, and a grandfather who was a lifelong lutheran that was baptized in the mormon church after death by proxy. (The family is pissed about the last one, and we don't know who did it!) So, we have gotten a little interest, mainly to see what it is and find out if what we know about is true. And also have descussions about it with our mormon friend.
