Pondering the questions of... the past?

I just wrote an email to Marilyn vos Savant, the woman who answers questions in the Parade magazine. The question I asked was: "Where does the physical past go? We are in the present and as time moves on, where does our physical universe go? Are there voids in time on either side of us? Or is the past a place we can visit? The physcial past goes...

Well it all starts with a flower and ends with a coffin so you fill in the holes!

I don't know. Maybe the physcial past goes into some sort of parallel universe and is done over again, and then again in a different parallel universe to the other universe. It could be like a code that is used millions of time.
